This month we’re talking with Seattle artist Tina Randolph. Tina chats with us about the differences between her commission work and her personal work; her love of materials; and the challenge finding healthy limits as an artist.
Tina is a multidisciplinary artist who works in architectural environments and finishes, as well as encaustic, mosaic, inlay, and more. Her work can be found in many iconic Seattle locations like Top Put Donuts and Tavern Law, as well as private collections all over the nation.
Find out more about Tina at her website.
At 21:17 we talk with Tina about her upcoming residency at Castle Hills Center for the Arts in Truro, Massachusetts. Here’s a link.
At around 25:50 Tina and I discuss her walls, mural, and paintings at Sun Liquor Distillery. We’ve since found out that the work was indeed removedin a recent renovation. Here’s a link to the project as it was.
