For episode twelve we’re excited to talk to Seattle storyteller Sharon Nyree Williams. Sharon is writer, performance artist, arts administrator, and most of all, a fantastic storyteller.

We talk with Sharon about her experiences as both an arts advocate and an active artist. From engaging the tech sector in the wider arts community to creating stories from family experiences, Sharon’s ideas and anecdotes are truly inspiring.

 

Sharon Nyree Williams is based in Seattle. She has two spokenword albums, Humanity and The Consciousness of LoveShe has performed live in numerous venues including Theatre Schmeater, Jack Straw Cultural Center, Womxn’s March on Seattle, Lit Crawl Seattle, and others. She has worked on films projects, plays, and more; she is also the executive director of the Central District Forum for Arts & Ideas.
