This month, we talk with multitalented artist Kelly Lyles about art cars, AA, and living the artist’s life.
Kelly Lyles is a Seattle-based artist who works in paint, assemblage, murals, and more, including her famous art cars. She has been featured in numerous regional and national venues, including Harrod Blank’s 2009 film Automorphosis and both his art car books; HGTV’s What’s with That House? ; a feature in Jefferson Davis’ travel guide Weird Washington; and many more.
